I got botox for the first time on Friday, and one of the areas we targeted were my chin dimples when I smile. Today is day 3, and I'm not expecting much yet. However, for the past day and a half or so, my chin dimples have actually been a lot worse, particularly when I frown with my mouth. Is it normal for it to get worse before it gets better?

What has happened is that the superficial muscle fibres have been paralysed, meaning the deeper fibres can push out more.
This can happen with masseters, if Botox isn't injected deep enough. However it may be that it just needs a bit more time to work on the deeper muscle.
