How long does a Botox brow lift last/how long until results are seen?

Thank you for your question. It could take up to 10 days for full results to be seen, but your results should last anywhere from 2 to 3 months. 

Typically Botox can take 1 to 2 weeks to take effect and normally lasts around 3 to 4 months.

Botox it Is a wonderful option for improving wrinkles of the forehead/eyes and it can be very addictive because people love what they see. When given in certain spots, your surgeon can achieve a “chemical Brow lift” with Botox alone. There are also many other options such as laser and chemical peels that can further improve the skin itself. Botox works by relaxing the muscles and usually needs to be repeated every 3 to 6 months. Surgery is another option but obviously more invasive and has scars.I would recommend that you see a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area that is a member of both ASPS & ASAPS and performs a lot of brow lifts but also offers all the nonsurgical options such as Botox injectables and laser treatments. Go over your concerns with them and make sure you walk out of there with several options. I hope this helps answer your question. Botox results are typically visible after 3 days and full effect at 2 weeks. The results from a full treatment last 2-3 months. Your treatment was very light so there is a possibility that it will only last 4-6 weeks. This area as well as across the forehead are best treated lightly to prevent a brow drop. Give your provider a chance to find your perfect pattern. If you stick with a provider that notes where your injections were given and how much to each area, your provider will learn what pattern works for you and will be able to deliver consistent results. 

Thank you for your question. Botox normally begins to work 5-10 days after treatment. I usually tell my patients to wait around 2 weeks to see the full effect. Botox treatments can last up to 4-6 months. Although the duration of effects of botox can vary from person to person, if your treatments are only lasting 4 weeks you may need to increase the number of units you are receiving. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your question.  Results of Botox are generally seen at 2-10 days with the final result seen at 14 days.  Typically results last 3-4 months, however, if you notice that your results are not lasting as long or you are not getting your desired result, you may need to increase the Botox dose. 

Botox usually kicks in within one week of treatment. The longevity is going to depend on the concentration and dose. With enough units, we can get results to last up to 6 months. Higher doses do increase the risk of side effects as well as the cost per treatment. To achieve a good brow lift, we usually treat the frown lines as well as the crow's feet which can require 25 to 50 units of Botox. The 4 units you received for the brow lift, if it does anything at all, will probably only last about a month. 

Thank you for the question.  When I perform Botox for lifting purposes, I like to inactivate all the muscles that drag the brow down.  Therefore, I treat the glabella, crows feet and just under the brow.  Results are seen at two weeks, and last about 21/2-3 months.

Thank you for sharing your case.  Are you sure you only had 2 units of Botox for your brow lift?  That is a very small amount.  Typically, patients will need much more than that.  Consider a consultation with a board certified injector who has experience treating the area around the eyes.  Good luck!

ochiexx.   First off, full results after Botox treatment should be seen within 5 to 10 days of treatment. I usually use considerably more Botox for Botox brow lift, some 20 units for an effective lasting result.   Also, I usually treat the whole forehead when performing a lift with Botox for a more natural appearance.  Correct placement of the Botox to achieve a natural appearing lift is key.  Results should last 3 to 4 months.  I hope that helps, good luck.
