I got 275ccs because I wanted a natural, conservative look. These feel huge and I am so disheartened. Do they look this big because of swelling? Will it go down? The first picture is me two weeks post op. The second is my pre op.

Answer: 2 weeks post op, will my boobs get smaller? Thank you for your question. Congratulations on your surgery. You're two weeks out from surgery, so your breasts will continue to change noticeably over the next month and then again over the following five months. I don't think that they will get smaller, and in fact I think that they will get a little bigger. However, as they get larger the shape will change for the better. Implants tend to move too high after surgery and this gives an unnaturally full appearance of the top of the breasts. After surgery it's normal to feel uncomfortable with the way your breasts look. As your implants settle you lose the exaggerated fullness at the top and get more naturally appearing fullness at the bottom. Be patient with the healing process and as your implants settle I think you'll start loving your new look. Congratulations again and if you have specific questions make sure to reach out to your surgeon. Your surgeon should be happy to answer questions as they arise.

Answer: BA results Dear once.ette.FXD,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process at 2 weeks post op.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation surgery.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
