Clear liquid diet 48hrs before mommy makeover procedure?

This is a preference by your surgeon.  I encourage you to speak with him/her if you are not feeling well.  I also encourage you to ask questions if there is anything you want clarified regarding your surgery.  Open communication is very important to your surgeon, and to your surgical success.

I personally have patients discontinue food and beverage at midnight the night before your procedure so that you would have at least 8 hours with no food or drink before your surgery. I have never heard of a clear liquid diet for any procedure in plastic surgery. It is important to communicate your worries with your physician. You chose him/her because you have a certain amount of trust in them, so I would follow their protocol. Best of luck!
