It appears from the limited photos that your facial appearance would be more balanced with a sliding genioplasty that also lengthens the height of your chin. That is one of the advantages of the sliding genioplasty. Changes can be made with projection and height.

You can see in your case that the chin pad is rotated upwards with a very mild horizontal projection deficiency. A sliding genioplasty that brings the chin forward and down a bit (probably 4mms forward and 3mms down) would provide the chin projection and chin pad shape you need without worsening the depth of the labiomental fold or the lower lip position. The marionette lines and lips will need injection augmentation whether that being synthetic fillers or fat whose different merits can be debated.

Projecting your chin forward with a sliding genioplasty or implant will worsen your labiomental angle. To some degree augmenting your lower lip will as well. Too much chin projection will create a witches chin deformity. Some vertical lengthening could be beneficial.Too much correction would be a mistake.A quality provider working with fillers could probably help you to some degree.Understanding that the problem is primarily skeletal  and starts behind your teeth not in front may be helpful. I suggest talking to some oral surgeons to do this type of work or board-certified plastic surgeons who have experience with this.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
