If Bellafill is injected by a certified Bellafill injector, flying should not effect your outcome. You may have some slight swelling and puffiness after injecting which is completely normal and will resolve over several days. Great question thank you!
There are no restrictions with flying after having Bellafill injected. As with any filler, puffiness or swelling is normal and can be expected in many patients over the next day or two after injections. If someone flies after filler they may believe the cabin pressure had an effect, which is not the case. With that said, always be sure to follow-up with your provider with any concerns!
This is a good question, one that I have not been asked before. I appreciate your concern but want to reassure you that there is no worry. As suggested by other posters the only concern that I would have is that you may need to return to original injector. The reason being that most practitioners are conservative with Bellafill because the semipermanent nature. I recommend that you bring up this issue with the injector prior to treatment. I wish you all the best!
Hi and thank you for your question! In general there is no restriction on flying following filler treatments including Bellafill, but in general it's a good idea to plan your treatment in a way that you will be able to do a follow up with your injector if needed within 2-3 weeks following the injection. I hope it helps and good luck!
Taking a flight after a Bellafill treatment should not affect the results. The pressure in the cabin will not be a factor in your outcome.
There is absolutely no problem with flying immediately after receiving Bellafill injections. The pressure changes in the cabin will have no effect on the filler. In fact, I frequently have out of town patients who fly back home on the same day they get treated. Bellafill is a great choice for acne scars and volume improvement for a long lasting correction. I'm a Regional Training Center (RTC) for Bellafill - one of 15 in the US.
You should have no problem flying after a Bellafill treatment. Stay away from Viatmin E and blood thinners however before your treatment
Yes, no problem. Will not adversely affect the outcome. The only potential issue is you may have some bruising that hasn't resolved yet 2 days later. Usually, this is minor and can be covered up with makeup.
I cannot think of why cabin pressure while flying would affect results after Bellafill several days prior. I think there is no problem with flying after Bellafill.
Bellafill is currently not recommended to be placed in lips. It leads to nodules. Fat, in particular micro and nanofat, it a good option for long term lip filler. There is downtime and swelling which can last for weeks and it might need to be touched up. Using smaller fat globules, there is...
I use cannula for all my cosmetic injections with Bellafill. I feel this is the safest way to inject all fillers, particularly Bellafill which has no dissolver. The experience of the injector is the most important part of a safe injection. When I'm using Bellafill for acne scarring, I will...
Bellafill filler can cause nodules and chronic edema, soft tissue reaction, and longterm problems. We specialize in the removal of Bellafill on the face and see patients with old and new PMMA filler problems. Bellafill will eventually form scar tissue around the permanent filler. We recommend a...
Bellafill lasts for 5 years and up. I have patients who have been treated 7 years ago and are still thrilled! HAs do not last more than 6 months. Especially for people with high metabolism. That being said, Bellafill is not recommended in the tear troughs unfortunately
Using marijuana (smoking weed) two days after receiving Bellafill injections is unlikely to directly hinder your desired results. Bellafill is a dermal filler primarily composed of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) microspheres suspended in a collagen gel. Its effectiveness and longevity are not...
