I'm looking into getting J-plasma done in my abdomen. Would it work or do I need a tummy tuck?

From the photo and description of your history a tummy tuck would be recommended. This would address excess fat and skin and correct abdominal wall laxity. From the photo it appears that the skin is too stretched out to get good results from J Plasma alone. See a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more.

Hi there I think the only way you would get a result that you liked is with a tummy tuck .Your skin has stretched with the pregnancies and only trimming the excess away is likely to get you a nice smooth abdomen .CheersTS

Based on your photograph, skin laxity, and history of 3 c-sections, you are a better candidate for a tummy tuck with liposuction.  J Plasma alone will not correct your skin laxity.  A tummy tuck can be done through a low and short incision, all completely below the bikini line.  The belly button can be designed to look natural and have no scars on the exterior.   Your muscles can also be plicated resulting in a flat abdomen.  Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.
