An inverted nipple can be normal but can also be a sign of something more concerning.  I would recommend consultation with either a plastic or general surgeon for evaluation and examination. Hopefully you are getting routine mammograms and, if not, you should get one.  This will be an important piece of information that they will need.  If the appearance of the inverted nipple is concerning to you and your mammogram is normal, this is can be corrected by an office procedure by a qualified plastic surgeon.
