Will my eye get back to normal once the chalazion is removed or will I need ptosis surgery?

Is best managed with a revision as you already plan.  I wouldn't waste time with trying to use tape to create folds.  Make sure your surgeon understands what your concern is so the desired outcome is achieved.

It looks like you can stand to have more skin removed from your upper lids.  The way I measure the skin is that I plan to remove as much skin as possible while leaving enough skin to allow you to close your eyes comfortably.  Makes sense, doesn't it?
