I saw Dr. Rokshar a few weeks ago for under-eye filler and a non-surgical nose job and I could not be happier with the results. As someone who made the mistake of undergoing a rhinoplasty with an inexperienced surgeon, I wanted to ensure that I had the most experienced doctor I could find perform my non-surgical nose job. When it comes to this procedure, you will be hard-pressed to find anyone else with more experience than Dr. Rokshar (he literally pioneered non-surgical nose jobs). As with any cosmetic procedure, it is extremely important to do your research beforehand and set reasonable expectations. Did my non-surgical nose job completely fix all the damage from my prior surgery? No, but it did significantly improve the appearance of my nose with virtually no downtime. Admittedly, I was slightly put off by the number of consent forms I was required to sign prior to the procedure, however, once I met Dr. Rokshar it was clear that he was extremely competent, experienced, and trustworthy. I am so happy to have found an alternative solution to a revision rhinoplasty for the time being and I plan to see Dr. Rokshar again once the results are no longer visible.
I got one tattoo removed and started a second when I was referred to Dr. Rokhsar. Needless to say I’ve been to many laser centers and providers. After Dr. Rokhsar completed ONE treatment, the results by far surpassed that of 6 sessions I had elsewhere. He is the best and has already saved me time, money, and physical discomfort. I can’t say enough about him and I recommend him highly!!!
I have been a patient of Dr. Rokhsar for 10 years, and have complete confidence in his medical knowledge, skills and outcome of procedures. I have had 14 Mohs Procedures with him and all have been very successful. He is a Mohs artist, and I am very grateful to be in such competent hands. I see him in his Garden City and Manhattan office and all staff are friendly and the office has a very comfortable environment. After the Mohs site has healed, I can't even locate it on myself . This result always puts me at ease, I never worry about my basal and squamous skin cancer diagnosis.
Dr. Rokhsar is extremely knowledgeable with lasers and the latest technology in dermatology. I have gone to his office for various treatments over the past 8 years and the Fraxel treatment last week was extremely effective with GREAT RESULTS. I would highly recommended him to family and friends.
ity location. His office is clean and neat and his front desk staff are a bunch of the nicest girls I've ever met. I never wait more than 5-10 min to be taken to the back. Dr. Rokhsar is sweet, helpful, and extremely smart. You can immediately tell upon meeting him that he knows his stuff. I'm always confident going to him cause I know he'll give me the right treatment. I've seen him for general dermatology and aesthetics. He had surpassed my expectations in both areas. I've been to many dermatologists and it wasn't until meeting Dr. Rokhsar that I realized I don't need to see anyone else. He is the best at what he does and he is so incredibly knowledgable. He's always been so nice to me and is the only doctor I've ever met that I feel knows how to counsel; he knows how to be personable and make you feel comfortable. Overall, it's always an amazing experience seeing this guy and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. Updated on 13 Apr 2016: I see Dr. Rokhsar at his garden city location. :)

Went in to treat scars on the temple and cheeks. This recent session was my 3rd. To be frank, scars have improved from the 2 prior treatments by maybe as much as 50%. Realistically speaking, you are not going to get rid of all your scars with 1 treatment. Although the treatments are quite pricey, you do see results. If you are absolutely determined to mitigate the scars you have and are willing to put down some money, go see Dr. Rokhsar. He is extremely professional and has a wealth of experience in the field of Fraxel treatment.
The doctor has excellent bedside manners, great staff and a clean office. The procedure is very clear cut, but a lot could go wrong if the Doctor has no experience in injecting a filler. Despite my worries on what could go wrong, Dr. Rokhsar came through, and did an excellent job. No tyndall effect, slight brusing to be expected, injected in the correct areas for a fullness effect. He also treats my sister, and he does a great job with her as well.
I went for coolsculpting to help remove the love handles that I developed post menopause. I am a very fit 56 year old woman and I eat right. I exercise 5 days a week - hard. I went to a very reputable well reviewed doctor in NYC. After 4 months this procedure seems to have had no effect except to reduce my bank account.
I have thought about fraxel for 5 months now and after reading reviews of how terrible fraxel was , I was very frightened of adding damage to my damage , I have had several ppl tell me not to throw 1200$ a session it's not worth it , it don't work etc I have struggled w acne scars ice pick scars and various other acne scars on my face , throughout the years it just got bad the older I'm getting , I lost confidence I became insecure and I lost hope that there was anything out there , I tried it all peels , micro derms various therapies even thought about dermabrasion with a surgeon and decided not to do it , I finally decide to listen to my heart , take a risk and do fraxel, and if I waste $1200 at least I know it don't work and that s worth it to me , I went for my first session And after I healed I saw 10 % -15% improvement and to me that was big !!! I went for a second treatment and saw another 10%-15% improvement And I was very happy to even have that I am now going for my 3 rd session It is an investment , but if it helps your investing on yourself ! I'm extremely happy w the results I can't believe how amazing it is , I always did have an issue w breakouts Now I only break out still before a nest risk cycle however it's not as bad as it once was , I think if you want to improve skin search for a great doctor mine is amazing god bless him ! He keeps it real and realistic w your goal expectation , I will have 50% improval after 5 sessions it's sooo worth it to me ... Even 10% made a difference Nothing is instant gratification it does take 3-6 months still healing cause it's deep withing healing throughout For instant gratification Get Botox and fillers , you def need $ a good doctor patience and a realistic goal If your looking to have skin you were born with good luck That's impossible .... Improving What you have is good :-) Dr rohksar is phenominal , the best doctor , down to earth , not $ hungry Cares about your goals and keeps it real with the goal that can be reached Obviously there's jealous haters allover the globe and if ppl wrote bad reviews in him they're just jealous !!! He's freaking amazing !!!! He knows his stuff And much respect to him !!!! He helped me when no one could have or just wanted my $ Respect to dr rohksar ❤
Unfortunately, eye bags are very much genetic. Though sleep and hydration can definitely alter their appearance, they are ultimately the result of our ancestors.Because you are young, you may not be ready for / qualify for a blepharoplasty (surgery to remove the fat pads). However, a nice alternative could be undereye fillers such as Radiesse or Restylane to fill in the areas surrounding the bulging fat pad and create a more even surface that will camoflauge the bags. This might be enough to solve the problem, or at least help conceal the problem until you can consider surgical options.Best of luck!Sincerely yours,Dr. Cameron Rokhsar and Molly Murray, PA-C
You don't really have "eye bags," as this refers to puffy fat pads below the orbits. Rather, it seems that you have hollowness below your eyes, which causes increases in darkness and shadowing. The best treatment for this would be injection of a filler, such as Radiesse or Restylane, which would help augment this hollow darkness and lighten things up. Best of luck to you!Sincerely yours,Dr. Cameron Rokhsar and Molly Murray, PA-C
I wouldn't necessarily call what you have "bags." Instead, it seems that you have some hollowness under the eye, with a deep "tear trough," (which is the line you see).Contrary to popular belief, there is nothing that can be done about this topically. There are no creams that can alter the anatomy of your eyes. Rather, if you're concerned about it I would recommend a filler like Radiesse or Restylane to help fill the tear trough and create a more even undereye surface.Best of luck!Sincerely yours,Dr. Cameron Rokhsar and Molly Murray, PA-C
You are an excellent candidate for a chin implant! I would like to remind you that if you're hesitant about having surgical chin implantation, a non-surgical option is available to you, via injection of Radiesse by a specialist dermatologist or plastic surgeon. The substance is made of calcium hydroxyapatite crystals which mimic bone almost identically. The procedure is painless and instant, and is a fraction of the cost of a surgical implant (though it lasts approximately 8 months). Even if you one day plan nf having a surgical implant, the Radiesse version is a good "trial run," allowing you to customize just how you want your chin to look in real time without relying on a doctor to perform a chin augmentation for you while you're under anesthesia, unable to guide the process. Best of luck to yoU!Sincerely yours,Dr. Cameron Rokhsar and Molly Murray, PA-C
I'm sorry to hear you're dealing with this frustrating problem! The good news, however, is that there are more and more options to treat pesky perspiration than ever before.First, you should see your primary care physician to ensure that the sweating isn't an indication of something more serious, such as a medical condition or hormone imbalance. Next, you should see a dermatologist and try prescription antiperspirants. If you still experience hyperhidrosis, insurance will usually cover Botox injections. Additionally, miradry is an exciting way to banish underarm sweating for good. It uses microwave technology to prevent sweat glands from overacting. Though insurance won't cover it (it's considered cosmetic), it's also permanent, meaning no repeat visits!Best of luck!Sincerely yours,Dr. Cameron Rokhsar and Molly Murray, PA-C
