Hi and thank you for your question! For this and other reasons we generally do not recommend Bellafill for under the eyes. At this time, we can try to reduce Bellafill by injection of steroid or 5FU. Another option is to attempt making some correction under the eyes using hyaluronic acid fillers such as Belotero, Restylane or Volbella to conceal the results of Bellafill. In either case, it is important that you work with a highly experienced physician. I hope it helps and good luck!  

Swelling and lumps can occur with Bellafill. I would assess your candidacy for removal from the eyelids based on your severity classfication using the Karamanoukian Grading system for soft tissue reaction. I have removed it from this area in the past.Best, Dr. Karamanoukian#Realself100 Surgeon

I would suggest a very diluted, gradual injection series of Triamcinolone to the specific area only. 

It is hard for me to fully appreciate the problem with the Bellafill you are describing. I would seek out a Plastic Surgeon or Oculoplastic Surgeon to evaluate this. You just might need more filler around the eyes to balance this out. Minor surgery can be done if it needs to be removed.

Than you for your question, narrative and photographs.The photographs reveal that you have a slim face, mild skin crease in the lower eyelid area only when smiling and minimal facial fine lines. I cannot appreciate excess fullness to the tear trough area.Half a syringe of Bellafill per side is a low volume of replacement. It is good that your injected was conservative.Bellafill can be safely and effectively injected everywhere in the face except the bulk of the lips. Care should be performed when injecting in the tear trough area below the lower eyelid to minimize the risk of over-injection.Animation wrinkles area treated with Botox and Disport.Fine lines treated with a skin resurfacing technique (dermal needling with PRP, chemical peels, lasers or radio frequency).Volume loss adjacent to the tear trough and to the mid face area can be achieved by Bellafill, or other fillers (HLA or Hydroxy-Appetite), fat transfer or silastic implants. Mild areas of irregularity can be treated by either adding more fillers or injecting Kenalog to absorb some collagen created by the Bellafill filler microsomes.I recommend a detailed visual examination and one performed by palpation to identify the anatomical issues. Also, a comprehensive conversation to clarify your specific desires. 

It is hard to answer your question as we normally evaluate results from all fillers and treatments when you face is at rest and not smiling.  Bellafill works very well under the eye but it can cause some problems if it is not injected properly.  If you can feel or see a lump (which I cannot see in your photos) then serial Kenalog 10 injections would be of benefit.  If not, then you may need just a little more filler to get the correction that you are looking for.I hope that helps.Best regards.
