I had a septoplasty/turbinate reduction on 4/2/19 and today I realized I potentially have a nasal valve collapse. I go for a follow up to my ENT on 5/20 and will speak to her about this issue then, but if I choose to have surgery to fix it, should I go to a plastic surgeon or allow my ENT to fix it? And will it be covered by insurance as it is a health issue and not cosmetic? I have medicaid so the septoplasty was 100% covered.
