Should I go with high profile or moderate plus? (Photo)

Thanks for your question! This has to come down to personal choice. Both seem like viable options for you. It just depends what your end goal is. Perhaps you should take some "wish pics" into your next appointment and get the opinion of your plastic surgeon. Good luck!

In general the higher profile implants will create slightly more upper pole fullness (central cleavage at the top of the breast) and have a greater implant on shifting the nipple position higher (good for women who have mild drop of the nipple). Generally you want to avoid using an implant to create 'side boob' as this may mean the implant is either sitting to wide on the chest or the width of the implant itself is too large for your breast width. Fat grafting can be used to design custom cleavage lines and would be a better option for achieving 'side boob'.

Thank you for your pictures and questions. Before you decide on the profile, you need to decide on the volume you want. Once you decide the volume, then your measurements and the volume will dictate which profile fits you best, not the other way around. The difference between a 350cc and 450cc implant is significant and with trying on sizer at a consult and with 3D imaging, you should be able to determine which volume you are searching for.

Thank you for your question and posting appropriate pictures. You seem to be a great breast augmentation candidate. In your VECTRA 3D images, you have 375cc. If you wish to go bigger, you should use a 450cc high profile to minimize lateral fullness (side boob). However, if you wish to be smaller, a 350cc moderate profile would be more appropriate. Of course best to have another consultation either virtually or in person to discuss options.

breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.
