Can perineotomy help me fix uneven perineum and vaginal openness? (Photos)

I had a vaginal delivery a few months ago with a perineotomy. Unfortunately, I didn’t heal well, and now the skin on my perineum is uneven, with a small closed hole. My vagina also looks more open than before, and my labia majora appear wrinkled. This has made me very insecure, and I’m looking for ways to improve it. In your opinion, what can I do to get as close as possible to my pre-pregnancy appearance (photo attached)? Can perineotomy fix this or I need another procedure as well?

The photos show damage to the perineum, but they also show damage to the vaginal canal itself. This means that a successful repair of your problem would require both a perineoplasty and internal vaginal tightening. This combo is called a full vaginoplasty and will tighten everything to a pre-baby state. If you skip internal work, sex will feel weird - the opening will be tight, but the inside will be loose. Perineotomy or perineorrhaphy are generic terms and don't really describe the precision of the total reconstruction that's involved. Thank you for your question and photos. Based on these photos, you would benefit from a perineoplasty to repair the posterior vaginal looseness. This will also cause the vaginal opening less open with your thighs spread.
