I dislike this area of loose skin near my anus; I recently consulted w a top female genital plastic surgeon and he said he does not do that area . Should I seek removal from a colorectal surgeon? Is this a hemorrhoid? There is no pain I just find it unsightly. The Dr I consulted with was going to do a parneoplasty but said I didn’t need it, so maybe I should see a specialist for this body area?

Dear concerned patient.
you are correct when one goes for perineoplasty, they should not have any posterior gaping vagina.
it all depends on the patient's anatomy post-trauma of delivery and the status of the sphincter.
please address your concerns to your surgeon.

please visit your doctor and find out what has happened.
Good luck and best of health
