My cheeks seem to protrude too far out when I smile and even when I'm not smiling. I've messed with plastic surgery simulators and I see that my face looks much better when my cheek size is reduced. I'm not sure exactly what can be done in order to reduce cheek size.
Answer: Cheeks -- Fat; Fillers like Radiesse, Juvederm Voluma/Vollure, Restylane Defyne/Lyft, Bellafill, Sculptra; Cheek Implants Facial sculpting and contouring of the face can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Contour, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra, which would give improvement in facial balance. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Cheek Lift Thank you for your question about cheek lift.I don't see anything wrong. Photos are limited though.Cheek bone reduction is possible but requires major surgery. I would think long and hard before doing anything like that.To be sure what is right for you, see at least two or more experienced, board-certified Plastic Surgeons in your area for a complete evaluation.I hope this helps.

Answer: Cheek fullness and options for correction Your pictures show some lower fullness and not much loose skin. Options we use include buccal (cheek) fat pad removal, a minor cheek lift and maybe a nonsurgical tightening modality (Ulthera and some radiofrequncy devices). Surgical removal of the lower cheek fat should be prudent and based on your exam - too much removed can hollow your face with suboptimal results. I think in your case, I might prefer ulthera as a nonsurgical lift to balance the cheeks - it is a softer improvement but probaly a good consideration in someone of your age who might better stave off surgery for a few more years.

Answer: Cheek protrusion The photographs appear to show facia lasymmetry which is not uncommpn.. Bone reduction would result in a relative excess of the skin envelope which may not be well supported. .A more thorough exam would be necessary before making recommendation .Michael Eisemann M.D.Plastic SurgeonHouston, Texas
