I was told that when you had an abdominoplasty with muscle repair that it could also have a tightening effect to the internal vaginal wall, repair that area as well, is that true?
Answer: Muscle Reapir during Abdominoplasty Thank you for your question.The muscle repair during abdominoplasty is to tighten the rectus abdomens muscles. This is improve the abdominal wall laxity which is mostly secondary to pregnancy. It is called "diastasis recti". This will not effect the internal vaginal wall. There are other procedures for that.Make sure you have a thorough consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who has extensive experience in this procedure. Check her/his experience, credentials, reviews, before and afters, and have a quality consultation.It is preferred for your surgeon to be member of "American Society of Plastic Surgeons" and also member of "American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery". This means they have been evaluated by the society and recognized that the focus of their practice is high volume, honest, and high quality aesthetic plastic surgery.All the best,

Answer: ABDOMINOPLASTY The muscle repair in the abdominoplasty is for the abdomen muscles, and do not change anything in the perineal muscles where the vagina is located. You will have a stronger abdominal wall that will be the improvement.

Answer: No You may look into Thermi VA which is an in office no down time vaginal tightening device. 3-4 treatments are needed. A tummy tuck will not change the internal vaginal area at all. Good Luck!

You look more proportioned and youthful. Many feel more sexy which improves their sexual relationship with their partner.
