It will always be cheaper to have a surgical procedureperformed in another country as opposed to the United States. That being said, you typically get what you payfor.I always support saving money ifpossible, yet do not advocate/support doing this when your own health is on theline.I wish you the best of luck!
From your question it looks like you live in Phoenix, AZ. Traveling out of the country for plastic surgery poses many unnecessary risks. Medical tourism can initially be less expensive but the risks far outweigh the benefits in my opinion. If you suffer complications from surgery you will be far from home and in a country with much different standards than ours. I would suggest finding a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in your area.
Although there are many good surgeons in Mexico, it is best if you find a surgeon close to where you stay. It helps having the surgeon and his/her team close by in case there is a complication or if you need revisions. An in-person exam with aboard-certified plastic surgeon is the best way to assess your needs andprovide true medical advice. Best ofluck. Dr. Michael Omidi
Hi, thanks for your inquiry, the price depends in how many areas of liposuction are involved and what kind of projection you are interested in having. It would start from 4500 USD in my practice. Please make sure that you and your surgeon are on the same page and discuss thoroughly all your concerns, options and expectations. Have a safe and pleasant PS journey!Respectfully,Dr. Jaime Campos-Leon
The most common issue after fat transfer to the breast is an inadequate amount of augmentation. Unfortunately, the usual course after fat transfer is that the breasts are the largest immediately after surgery, then gradually they get smaller as swelling subsides and some of the fat is...
Great Question. Here is the answer: If you gain weight after you have a #FatTransfer the fat that was transferred to your breasts will grow to the same extent as where it used to live in the donor site (rather than the recipient site).
Most patients will need a few weeks off after fat transfer to the buttocks. The liposuction sites and your buttocks will be sore for several days. You will still be on pain killers. I also don't want you sitting for 2 full weeks so for a desk job you need to factor in that part as well...
Every surgeon's technique is different. What's done is done and you are left with permanent scars. You are right, one of the advantages of fat graft breast augmentation is to do it without scars and also contour the body from where the fat was collected. I personally use two needle poke holes...
A person’s own fat may be used to improve the appearance of his or her body by moving it from an area of excess (or where it is less desired, such as the thighs, hips or abdomen) to an area that has lost tissue volume due to aging, trauma, surgery, certain diseases, birth defects, or other c...
You are correct in saying it sounds like a good idea. Unfortunately, in practice, the results are not very good. Most of the fat ends up being absorbed. I have seen very few cases where there is much if any size increase.
