Can you do Cellfina on inner thighs and front of thighs?

Is it an all over leg and butt remedy or just the back of thighs and butt!?

Cellfina best for back and side of thighs

Cellfina is FDA-cleared for the treatment of dimple like cellulite of the buttocks and thighs.  Typically, ideal dimpling for treatment in the thigh region is on the back and lateral (outside) of the thighs.  The inner thigh skin does not contract as readily as other regions and I would approach that area with caution.  The banana roll area (area of back of thigh just under the buttocks) is also an area that should be approached with extreme caution or irregularities may result.  Well chosen dimple like cellulite spots on the front of the thigh can be successfully treated with Cellfina.

Cellfina has been approved by the FDA for the treatment of cellulite on the thighs and buttocks. Results in patients followed over 2-3 years have been very good with a high degree of patient satisfaction.

Cellfina is for dimples

Cellfina is FDA cleared for the treatment of dimples associated with cellulite on the buttocks and thighs. Typically that kind of cellulite is on the outer and posterior thighs.  Other areas of the thighs are more prone to saggy skin which can be treated with skin tightening. In my office I use Ultherapy for that.

I hope that helps!

Cellfina Treatment Areas

Cellfina is FDA approved to treat the appearance of cellulite for at least 2 years.  Cellfina is a great treatment option for primary cellulite, which is the result of fibrous bands pulling down on the skin and creating a dimpled appearance.  Cellfina uses a mechanical device to release these bands and create an improved contour.  Primary cellulite typically occurs in the buttocks and on the upper back and side of thighs.  These areas are typically more responsive to Cellfina.  The inner thighs and front of thighs typically show secondary cellulite, which is the result of textural irregularity and skin laxity.  Here, there are no fibrous bands to treat, which means Cellfina is not typically an effective treatment.  When patients come to our office with concerns of inner thighs and front of thighs, we usually recommend a non-invasive body contouring treatment that uses radiofrequency heat.  These devices are able to eliminate a small amount of fat, as well as tighten the overlying skin.  Patients who suffer from both primary and secondary cellulite may require both procedures to see optimal results.  Only through an in person consultation can you and your provider determine which treatment is best for you.

Cellfina on inner thighs and front of thighs

Your cellulite problem is a common one. Fortunately, finally there are effective ways to minimize this problem. Perhaps the least invasive one is  Cellfina™. Cellfina is the only FDA-cleared minimally invasive, one-time procedure clinically proven to improve the appearance of cellulite for at least two years—the longest FDA-cleared duration for a cellulite treatment. A straightforward solution to cellulite, Cellfina™, combines a proven approach with innovative, proprietary technology, to produce precise, long-lasting results and has a high satisfaction rating on RealSelf. Together with Velashape 3, a non invasive procedure to help "shrink wrap the skin" and further minimize cellulite as a combination treatment is perhaps your best chance for taking care of this tough problem. Cellulaze is also a possible treatment but much more invasive

Currently, Cellfina is FDA approved for posterior thighs and buttocks. If you have cellulite throughout your entire leg, you may want to consider Velashape III for the other areas.#Cellfina #Cellulitethighs

Cellulite, Vaser Smooth, Thermi RF, Cellfina, Fat Transfer, Cellulaze, Subcision, Dimpling, Sculpsure, Coolsculpting

Cellfina is an FDA approved minimally invasive procedure that reduces the appearance of cellulite for at least two years on the buttocks and back of the thighs of women.
It works by releasing the internal bands that cause the cellulite dimpling and so we have not seen any fat atrophy. You should not see much of a difference with weight gain or loss but this also has not been studied.
Other areas of the body with dimpling, it is important to make sure it is truly cellulite before treatment.

It is common to have swelling bruising and firmness after the procedure. This can last for a few weeks.
It is different than Cellulaze which is a laser.
If you have had previous poor results with cellulaze, you can still do Cellfina.
Cellfina has shown 100% noticeable improvement and 96% satisfaction in all patients at 2 years.
Cellfina is designed to be a one time procedure.
It can be used on women with all skin types but caution should be taken if theres a history of keloiding.

It can also be combined with other treatments such as Thermi or
Ulthera if skin tightening is needed.

We have done Sculpsure and Coolsculpting if fat reduction is wanted, but its best to wait 3 months to see the results before proceeding.

It can also be done at the same time as other procedures such as liposuction and BBL or as a stand alone procedure in the office.

Since Cellfina outcomes can be based on technique and experience, please see a board certified plastic surgeon that specializes body contouring to see if Cellfina or other treatments are available to meet your goals.

Cellfina FDA cleared for more than two years improvement in cellulite on buttocks and thighs

Although initially FDA cleared for posterior thighs, Cellfina can legally be used by physicians on anterior thighs and other areas.  More information of long term results are needed to compare the results of Cellfina with those of ThermiTight and other treatments such as Cellulaze.

Can you do Cellfina on inner thighs and front of thighs?

We have treated all areas of the thighs and buttocks. Each patient is a unique and individual case and I tailor my approach accordingly.  There is only one truly effective and proven lasting cellulite treatment out there, and that is CELLFINA. All of the other lotions, potions, creams, treatments, radio frequency devices, including Cellulaze, are at best, mediocre, and, in many cases, completely worthless. Cellulaze is a laser-based procedure that has a much higher complication rate, as well as a much lower patient satisfaction rate, so that answer is pretty clear. CELLFINA is the only cellulite treatment that has a proven track record of 96% patient satisfaction at 2 years post treatment. Nothing else is even remotely as effective as Cellfina. This is a single session procedure that is done under local anesthesia with little to no pain! Thank you for your excellent question.
