Is it possible to somehow make my philtrum less wide? (Photo)

Interesting question. The short answer is not really. However, by shortening the philtrum with a lip lift it will bring less attention to the width of the philtrum and more attention to the red portion of the lips, which I think will help. I have done philtrum contouring procedures but this is typically to deepen the philtrum not make it less wide. Happy to discuss further. Gary Linkov, MD

Unfortunately, you have not provided a view from the ground up showing your nostrils.  It may be possible that pulling your medial cura together will decrease the width of the base of your nose and make the philtrum column less wide at the top.  Also, a lip lift may may possibly narrow the top but these will not narrow the bottom, which does look normal.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
