I’m wanting lip injections, but I’m also getting rhinoplasty and I’m wondering should I wait so my face symmetry isn’t messed up. Or would it be okay to just get them now?
Answer: Should I wait for lip injections until after rhinoplasty? Yes, I would wait until after Rhinoplasty to have lip augmentation. Based on a limited photo- you appear to be a great candidate for Reduction Rhinoplasty preferably through a closed technique .

Answer: Lip fillers after a rhinoplasty Hi @DA_. This is an excellent question. I would wait at least 6 weeks after a rhinoplasty to get lip fillers because of swelling. Best of luck to you!

Answer: Lip injections and rhinoplasty The biggest complaint that most people have with lip injections is discomfort. Although you may have swelling of your lip following rhinoplasty, if you have your lips injected in the operating room prior to the start of the rhinoplasty a skilled injector will be able to create an attractive lip for you. The rhinoplasty that you then have performed will not alter the final appearance of your lip and it will all be done while you are under anesthesia.

Answer: Closed Scarless Nose Rhinoplasty Hello! Thank you for your picture and question!Based on the pictures you have submitted It does appear that you would be a great candidate for a Closed Scarless Rhinoplasty. I would suggest getting your lips done either before or after your rhinoplasty, it would not interfere with your rhinoplasty. A closed rhinoplasty procedure is the best option for someone who is looking for a refinement of the nose. Based on your photographs it appears you have a bulbous tip and drooping tip with thick nasal skin. I recommend going to a Plastic Surgeon that specializes in closed scarless rhinoplasty (preferred by actresses and celebrities) because there is no risk of external scarring and much less healing and recovery time. Closed rhinoplasty enables you to have flash recovery with very minimal bruising if at all. You will only have to wear a cast for 5-7 days, no one will know you had anything done. All the incisions are made from inside the nose. The goal is to finesse and enhance the nose without drastic change. It still looks like it is your nose just more refined without looking fake. Meaningful refinement is the key! All the same surgical maneuvers your nose requires can be performed with a skilled closed scarless surgeon. Best of luck, Deepak Dugar MD Beverly Hills Rhinoplasty Center

Answer: Rhinoplasty before or after lip fillers There is no hard and fast rule on this. If the lips were injected before the rhinoplasty, I would want the initial lip swelling to subside before the rhinoplasty is done, but swelling from the injection should be gone within a week or two.If done the other way around (rhinoplasty first), the swelling from the rhinoplasty may distort the upper lip for as much as six to twelve weeks, so it would be better to wait that long until having the lips done.
