I am 32 years old. I have DM2 (for 12 years now). From oral maintenance meds, i opted to switched to insulin two years back. My sugar is well maintained by my diet, not to mention I workout everyday (cardio and weights) for at least an hour. But i cant seem to get rid of that excess back fat. I am thinking of undergoing lipo cavitation. Is this advisable?

Tummy tuck and liposuction will produce surgical swelling. This swelling can settle into the clitoral/clitoral hood area and alter sensation and arousal. As this swelling subsides your ability to achieve your typical organism will return.
You can have edema and swelling post treatment including emphysema (air under the skin). Compression garments can help. If there is still residual feeling in 2 weeks, ultrasound or other like devices can help increase the healing. Best, Dr. Emer.
Liposuction can treat areas selectively so that patients get the results that they want. There are actually lots of degrees of freedom available to the plastic surgeon in liposuction patients.
