Please help, I regularly take baths, my clothes are washed twice and I don't eat odorful foods. I tried every deodorant I found even the Clinical Strength, and strong antiperspirant but nothing works effectively. It only makes my skin irritated and wounded and the odor is still there, I think my armpits are immune. My sweat is usually oily and super smelly but not that sweaty. Please help me, it is ruining my life. My relative said that I should undergo BoTox. Is Miradry more effective?

Answer: Miradry for odor on the armpits I have extensive experience with Miradry. It is primarily used for hyperhidrosis and will improve bromohidrosis in many cases. I would consider an option for you. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles

Answer: There is Hope! The sweat glands underneath your armpits are called Apocrine sweat glands, producing a milky white fluid that innately has no smell. However, this fluid does contain potentially odoriferous substances which, when combined with the bacteria naturally found in our armpit, can help lead to extremely smelly armpits. Fortunately, the removal of our armpit sweat glands via methods such as MiraDry rids our armpits of the potentially smelly fluid (armpit sweat), reducing the potential for smell while also making your armpits much less sweaty. In other words, MiraDry may not completely get rid of your unfortunate smells, but it can easily reduce it to a manageable level! Talk to your dermatologist today to learn more.
