Thank you for your question. While working on weight loss your breast will most likely worsen. I would suggest seeing a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in person to evaluate you and discuss your options. I typically would recommend to a patient to be as close to their weight goal as possible. Reason being the more weight you lose the saggier the breast will become and it will allow your surgeon to deliver a better result. Sometimes it will not be possible to add an implant at the same time as a lift depending on how droopy the breast is. It may have to be done in a 2 stage process. Best of luck to you.
Hello, thank you for your question, ptosis can be corrected with breast lift, implants that depending if you want more volume. I recommend you to schedule an email, Skype or in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon for proper evaluation.
Exercise and weight loss is definitely encouraged to help assist in maintaining good health. Unfortunately, ptosis cannot be fixed without surgery. A Mastopexy (breast lift), with or without implants, will correct the ptosis or sagging. Consider scheduling a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon and discuss your options.
Unfortunately, losing more weight will not improve the ptosis of your breasts. You will need a mastopexy (breast lift) to correct the ptosis. You can consider breast implants at the same time as your lift if you are looking for more volume but not necessary if you are happy with your size and just want more lift.
Dear Rational621857,Exercises and weight loss won't lift your breasts. You will need a surgery in order to do so. My preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Hello and thank you for your question and sharing your photos. Unfortunately, no amount of weight loss can improve breast ptosis. You seem to be an excellent candidate for breast lift. I would seek consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon for a full evaluation and advice. Best,Pejman Aflaki, M.D. Johns Hopkins-trained double board-certified plastic surgeon
HiUnfortunately the only thing that can improve the cosmesis of your breasts is surgery in the form of a breast lift. Losing weight will make them sag more.Regards Damien
Upon exercising this will improve and your breast size will decrease a bit, but it is highly recommended to do a surgery for this to be totally improve.
Hello and thank you for your question and photo. The answer to your question is , no , you would require a lift . The more weight you lose the more sagging you will have , so I recommend you see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon .
While a healthy diet and exercise is always encouraged it will make no improvement to the degree of breast ptosis. You can consider a full breast lift with or without implants to improve the overall shape. I've included a video that may be helpful.
Hello and thank you for your question. 400CC may be big for some and not for others. A formal consultation with plastic surgeon is essential to determine if this would be right for you. There are various implants of similar size and various profiles. During your...
You would do well with a lift to help raise and reshape your breasts. Small implants could be added if you want more volume. I would suggest meeting with a board certified plastic surgeon and discussing your options and concerns.
It sounds that you have a contracted scar which is pulling your skin inwards and upwards into the breast. This is an easy fix and can be removed by cutting out only the old scar and bringing together edges of normal skin. Muscle contraction deformity repair will depend on the cause and l...
