Hello and thank you for your question. 400CC may be big for some and not for others. A formal consultation with plastic surgeon is essential to determine if this would be right for you. There are various implants of similar size and various profiles. During your consultation with your plastic surgeon, he/she will take measurements and provide size recommendations based on your goals and what you are looking to achieve. Good luck!
Hi, thank you for your question. it is difficult to determine the ideal implant size for a patient without a proper examination. There is no correlation between current bra size and potential implant options. Depending on your skin characteristics and base diameter of your breast, you may be a candidate for a range of implants. It would be helpful for you to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon in person to go over your options. I hope this helps. Best of luck!
Hello, thank you for your question. The best way to determine what your breast sizeshould be with respect to your anatomy and give true advice would be anin-person exam with a board certified plastic surgeon who performs hundreds ofbreast procedures annually. Not only does proportion depend uponthe aesthetic balance of your breasts with your shoulders, waist, hips, and buttocks, but also upon your objectives, active lifestyle, soft tissuequality, muscular anatomy, and long-term concerns. There is also a limitto how small you can go due to tissue that needs to be retained for thenipple/areola to maintain a good blood and sensory nerve supply.
Thank you for your question. It would be hard to determine which implants size would meet your goals as it depends on your existing breast size/shape, tissue volume, elasticity and overall skin tone. It is important to have a proper in-person consultation with a plastic surgeon. The surgeon would take measurements of your frame and assess your skin quality in order to recommend an implant type and size range that would best meet your goals. @yorkplasticsurgery
Thank you for your question. When choosing an implant size there are a few factors that come into play. Nipple to crease distance, width of the breast and depending on the amount of breast tissue will determine the end cup size when adding an implant. Without an in person exam it is hard to determine what a 400cc implant will do to your cup size. I would suggest seeing a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in person to evaluate you and discuss your options. Best of luck to you.

I hope that helps! Best of Luck! Matthew J. Nykiel MD
Great question! Implant sizing can be difficult to discuss in a forum like this. It all depends on the dimensions of your breast specifically the measurement of your breast width, as well as your ultimate goals. With that being said in general approximately 200cc is one cup size therefore 400cc will provide you approximately 2 cup sizes larger than you are now. However it is more important that implant fits your breast measurements. Therefore it is important to have an in person consultation so that a good physical examination can be performed. Seek a consultation with a few board-certified plastic surgeons and go with the one you feel most comfortable with.Best of luck and hope this information helps!- Dr. Roger Tsai @DrRogerTsaiBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon
Your surgeon is the expert in helping you select the correct implant for you. Selection is a process that must take into account your breast width as well as your surgical goals. Implants come in various shapes and profiles. Implants that are 400 cc will look different depending on the shape, width, and profile selected. Typically surgeons have sample implants you can "try on" to help you get a feel for how you may look after surgery.
Hi!Breast cup sizes are like T shirt sizes, and can change based on the brand of bra, what you wish to wear, and even time of the month. The best way is to be assessed by a surgeon who who consider to have a good aesthetic eye, to see what a) fits in your body's dimensions and b) suits your overall figure. All the best!
After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of former patients with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants. My patients tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size breast implant is right for them.
