From what I can see in your photos, you seem to be a suitable candidate for a bichectomy and a chin implant. Typically, I decide on surgery after a physical examination of my patients. Upon examining your photos, I notice a density in the buccal fat pad, which contributes to the appearance of a smaller chin. Additionally, supporting your jawline with fat injection will enhance the femininity and balance of your implant.
Hello, hope you are well. Thank you for your photos and question. You have a well-developed jaw structure. The width of the chin and the width and position of the jaw angles is generally what determines a more masculine or feminine appearance. Based on your photos, the chin itself does not appear overtly masculine, but a slight reduction in the chin width and mandibular angle width would further feminize the lower face. This is done by jaw contouring through small incisions on the inside of the mouth, and carefully shaving down these prominent aspects of the mandible. Best,Dr. Tower
I think your face looks great, and I suggest you leave everything alone. If there is an issue in regards to vertical height, it is more the height of your maxilla that is slightly off rather than the mandible.Having a good size mandible with good vertical height, will prevent you and protect you from never developing a double chin, marionette, lines, or premature gels.Of all the issues to have this is a good one because it will keep your good Feminine looks over a lifetime while others show signs of premature aging far earlier than you will.Your facial bone structure is actually very good and is in my opinion in your favor.Take a look at how individuals with a small mandible tend to age with the formation of early jowls, loss of jawline, definition, and the formation of a double chin to understand why your face has the upper edge.Be happy with what you have. Avoid surgical intervention unless indicated.Best,Mats Hagstrom, MD.
