Traveling after BBL. Is it OK to fly back after 3 days?

Thanks for the question. You should be able to go on vacation by 3-4 weeks after your surgery. But this is valid only with assuming postoperative recovery is uneventful. If any unexpected incident happens in your treatment process, this time can be extended or shortened. I wish you all the best.

I would not recommend that you fly 3 days post op.  Please discuss and review with your surgeon.  Your surgeon is your best resource and he/she is most familiar with your medical history and how you will be healing following surgery.
The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam.

For questions such as these, the best advice is your operating surgeon's advice.
There are a number of points to consider with regard to post operative travel. The primary goal is to ensure adequate healing before resuming any significant degree of activity. Lengthy flights have their own inherent risks (including immobility, clot risk and compromise of seating restrictions post BBL). However, greater concern is that of distance from the operating surgeon in the immediate post operative period. I will generally follow patients closely for six weeks. During that time I usually recommend no exercise until one month post-op (assuming uneventful healing) and the resumption of all activity (including strenuous exercise and heavy lifting; >10 lbs by 6 wks).
For my out of town patients, I usually recommend staying local for at least 2 weeks. This ensures that should any major issues arrive, they will be able to reach me with little difficulty.As always, discuss your concerns with your board certified plastic surgeon.
