Surgery isn't an option yet. How many syringes? I am a 31 year old male. 1. How many syringes would I need for optimal results? I am wanting a more prominent chin and more chiseled jawline. Surgery just is not an option right now . 2. IS my CHIN or JAW the bigger problem? 3. Would Radiesse or Voluma (or Restylane) be my BEST option? 4. how MANY syringes would you suggest honestly? Also, I want higher cheekbones in a masculine way. No puffiness or fat added just prominent. What product would you suggest and how many syringes?
Answer: Facial Sculpting I prefer to use Radiesse when sculpting the chin, jaw line, and mandibular angle. The product most approximates the feeling of bone and soft tissue, stays where it is placed, and is long acting. Equally important is that Radiesse is very economical as the cost of a 1.5cc syringe is just slightly more than a syringe of Voluma. Voluma is my go to product for cheek and cheek bone sculpting but Radiesse and Restylane Lyft are both good alternatives that will provide very nice results for a long period of time. The key is not all about the product however. Who you choose to inject you is more important. I would consult with a skilled injector who can use computer imaging in order to help demonstrate the changes that you would like to see to the appearance of your face and then duplicate that with injections.

Answer: A formal evaluation would be needed to determine what's best. A formal evaluation would be needed to determine what's best. Many of my patients try to avoid surgery, so we perform a non-surgical chin augmentation treatment with injectable fillers. Fillers like Radiesse, Voluma, BellaFill as well as Sculptra are injected into the area, improving the overall appearance of the lower face and balancing the jaw and lip harmony. We use cannula injections to meticulously contour and project the chin, soften the chin along the jawline and improve the chin crease. When it comes to timeline, Radiesse is used to contour and “lift” the chin, the results last about 15 months, Voluma's results, however, last for about 24 months. Implants are still a great option once you are 100% positive that you are ready for a permanent enhancement. I suggest getting a consultation with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist and facial sculpting expert; our practice is located right here in Los Angeles. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Best filler options for facial contouring Both of these products are good choices for adding volume and contouring the face. Voluma is particularly effective in adding subtle definition and fullness to the midface. This is a hyaluronic acid filler that looks natural and lasts up to 2 years. Radiesse may be a better choice for the jawline and for a chiseled, angular look, due to its firmness. The ingredient in this filler serves as a scaffolding in the dermal structure to support the skin and add shape and volume. Radiesse also stimulates the body to produce additional collagen to prolong the natural results. For the look you wish to achieve, jawline, cheeks and chin, you will need at least three and possibly four syringes, depending on the product. More important than the filler is the experience and expertise of the physician performing your treatment. Make sure you work with a dermatologist who is board-certified and has extensive training in nonsurgical facial contouring.

Answer: Radiesse or Voluma to enhance chin, jawline and cheekbones? It is very difficult to evaluate your chin with the photos you provided. A picture of your face, without a beard, from the side would be helpful. In general, if augmentation is being done against a bone, I think Radiesse works very well. This would be for areas such as the chin and jawline and cheekbones. If the area of the cheeks to be treated is not over the bone but lower, then I think Voluma works well. The number of syringes needed will vary, depending on how much augmentation is desired and how many areas are treated.

Answer: Voluma & Radiesse Both Work Well For Jawline & Chin Augmentation Voluma is a robust, long-lasting hyaluronic acid volumizing filler that works well for providing volume and augmenting areas, such as the cheek, chin and jawline. Radiesse is also a robust, calcium-based injectable volumizer that has a long history of use for these regions. An in-person examination that allows not only closeup examination, but for manipulation and palpation of the tissues is of course the ideal means for evaluating your particular concerns. From the photos provided, it is likely that you would benefit from either Radiesse or Voluma. Since Voluma may be dissolved with hyaluronidase, it possesses the distinct advantage that it may be removed fairly easily should the need arise. Although I began injecting Radiesse well over twenty years ago when it was known as Radiance, I have since moved to Voluma for the reason mentioned. Two syringes would likely be necessary for the jawline and one for the chin. Best of luck.
