What do I need to ask for in order to have my tummy tuck surgery covered under FMLA? (Not to be confused with disability) This will be completely cosmetic not looking to get paid, just approved for the time off.

FMLA is the federal family medical leave act.  It applies if you need time off but not to procedures themselves.  A medical certification is required so you should inquire of your surgeon.  Know that you may be required to sign a HIPAA release, meaning that the nature of the surgery must be stated accurately and ethically.
