What do I need to ask for in order to have my tummy tuck surgery covered under FMLA? (Not to be confused with disability) This will be completely cosmetic not looking to get paid, just approved for the time off.

Thank you for your question! It is safe to drink caffeine at 3 weeks post surgery, however I recommend discussing specific post op instructions with your plastic surgeon.

You are early in your recovery. Even if you don't feel swelling, you will have swelling for at least another 3 months or more. Try to be patient. Discuss your concerns with your surgeon. Follow all post operative instructions. Good luck.

Bloating before your period can certainly contribute to swelling, however it would probably be a good idea to see your surgeon just to make sure that it’s nothing more serious since you mentioned that it appeared suddenly.
