I had a follow up with a nurse yesterday who agreed my bellybutton is infected and has me treating it by inserting balled up gauze with Polysporin inside my naval. What has me more concerned than the infection is that the tissue inside my bellybutton has partially turned completely white. Is this something to be worried about? Why the heck is this happening?
