So I'm about ten months out from my breast lift surgery. When I look at my before and after pictures side by side I'm happy with my results. When I look in the mirror I feel like my nipples are too high? That or maybe the bottom of my breasts are starting to droop?
Answer: Nipple position can't be really lowered but can appear lower. The nipple appears to be positioned slightly higher, and there is also drooping of the tissue in the lower pole. While it's not possible to lower the nipple position, the appearance can be improved by removing excess skin and breast tissue from the lower pole.

Answer: Nipple position after breast uplift. Thank you for your question. There is a certain measurement we do for a breast lift surgery starting from the collar bone to the nipple. Where your nipple is right now looks correct to me. Best wishes.

Answer: Results From the limited photos it does appear your nipples sit a bit high in position on your breast. In order to correct this, a revision would be necessary. The bottom portion of the breast would be tightened and excess skin removed. See a board certified plastic surgeon near you to discuss your concerns.

Answer: Nipples high post mastopexy Hello! Thank you for the question. The nipple may be in proper position but the lower aspect of your breast is long and disproportionate. If you have implants, it is because they are sitting low and not providing the upper cleavage they should ideally provide. If there are no implants then the lower pole of the breast needs to be shortened which would require removing skin along the breast crease. It is hard to tell if your incision is lollipop or anchor. If anchor, skin removal occurs within an existing scar. If lollipop, this would create an additional scar. I would recommend you see your plastic surgeon back to address your concerns. Best of luck to you!

Answer: 10 months post-op, are my nipples too high after breast lift? Thank you for your pictures, some additional photos or angles would be helpful as would an in-person exam. In most cases we see like this, it is not actually that the nipple position is too low, but that the bottom of the breast has stretched too much, allowing the glandular breast tissue to settle in the lower part of the breast, causing the nipple to appear too high on the breast mound. The easy way to check is to stand in front of the mirror and push the tissue in the bottom of the breast up without moving the nipple itself. If you can change the shape of the breast and now, all of the sudden, the nipple position looks normal, then it is not the position of the nipple that is the problem, but rather the position of the breast and you would be helped with a revision and additional lower pole support with mesh scaffold. If not matter how you move the tissue around, the nipple always appears too high, then you might need a more complicated procedure to actually lower the nipple. Hope this helps!
