Thank you for your question and pictures. I agree with you that your lips look asymmetric and your upper lip is overfilled in the wrong areas. Fortunately, if you used a Hyaluronic acid filler then you can have it dissolved using an enzyme called Hyaluronidase. This may take several sessions to fully dissolve the filler. You can then start over with a more experienced injector. Whether you can get your money back is a discussion you need to have with your injecting physician. Best wishes.
Hi @Juice0713. I agree that your lips are not symmetrical. I recommend dissolving the product with Hyaluronidase.Best of luck,Dr. Nima
Most practices will have a very firm policy of no refunds. This is because anyone can say they are not happy and demand their money back. A little tweaking with some hyaluronidase to partially remove the fillers can easily correct the unevenness. Most doctors would not charge you for that, since there is clearly visible unevenness. As for the lips not looking full, you would need more fillers to make them bigger in which case it would not be unreasonable for the doctor to charge you for more fillers. The unevenness can also be corrected by adding more, but my suggestion would be to remove a little bit to make them look more even, your lips look very full. Try to focus on getting the result that you want instead of trying to get your money back.
If you had hyaluronic acid based fillers you can have them reversed and you can discuss with the injector about their policy about reimbursement.
Hyaluronic acid fillers can be reversed. I would recommend you followup with your injector to see if he/she can adjust them to your satisfaction. Most injectors would cover the cost of reversal if needed. Each office would have its own refund policies, that is a good question to ask during an initial consultation.
It does appear that they are uneven. If this was a recent injection, they may still have swelling for couple weeks and may even out. If it is longer that 3 weeks, you may need to have the filler removed with hyaluronidase.
Hey there thanks for the question!Sorry you're not happy wit the result there. There does indeed appear to be uneven swelling. This can be normal for 1-2 weeks after injecting so it's difficult to fully comment without knowing the time frame of the injections, but if these pictures are taken a few weeks after injection I would certainly contact your injector for a review and discuss their policy. Good luck!
Dermal filling with Hyaluronic Acid (restylane, juvederm, belotero, revanesse versa etc), can be reversed with an injection of hyaluronidase. It is best to consult with your practitioner.
For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest...
Hi - filler placement for the mid face should try to accentuate the already beautiful cheekbones that you have, without trying to widen your face further. There are many fillers out there, but a filler that has a higher lifting capacity like Restylane Lyft, Juvederm Ultra Plus XC or...
We have seen great results with a combination of Sculptra and ThermiTight to treat elbow and knee wrinkles. You would need an in-person consultation and evaluation to determine if these treatments are appropriate for you. Make sure you see an experienced physician. Best wishes.
