Dr. Saluja is absolutely amazing! She explains everything about the procedure and makes you feel at ease. She has the absolute best bedside Manner I've ever experienced! I can't wait to explore other treatments I can do at her practice!
I can't begin to tell you how happy I am with my treatment with Dr. Saluja. From the time I walked in the door I was greeted by two wonderful friendly ladies!! They were so welcoming. Her assistant was assuring and professional. Dr. Saluja made me feel so comfortable and relaxed during my injections. Not only is she artistic in her approach she is an expert in what she does. My friends recommended her a long time ago and I'm so sorry I waited so long.
Dr. Saluja is an amazing physician and person! I've been a long time patient of hers and truly enjoy every visit. She is extremely patient, focused on what is best for you and tremendously talented in what she does. (she has a very warm and comforting bedside manner, too!) Her goal is to make you look your best, in the most natural way of ways. I love that she is fellowship trained in lasers and injectables and her practice concentrates solely in these areas. Her practice has only the latest technology available and she keeps herself on the forefront of the latest research and studies. I wouldn't trust my skin to anyone else !
I had a wonderful experience! Dr. Saluja listened carefully to my concerns and requests and was very knowledgeable in providing feedback. She did a great job on my filler. I love the final outcome.
I have several tattoos, all of which came from a very different time in my life. I hated a large one on a back but figured tattoo removal would be too costly, so I added to it to try and make it "pretty". Good intentions, but I hated it even more the bigger it got!!! I started doing research and found out about picosure and decided that it was worth a shot, if something seemed different after the first session, I could keep going, if not, I could make a different choice. So I have had 2 TREATMENTS now, one on July 18 and the next was August 15, which was 5 weeks after the first treatment (should have waited 6 weeks, but she said it wouldn't hurt since I left town for several weeks and was SO EXCITED about the results that I wanted to have another session!!!!!!) The doctor is great, the procedure was uncomfortable, NO LIE! I have a big tattoo on some very sensitive nerves so she numbed what she could with lidocaine (sub-dermis) and the rest she used cool air on. I had 14,500 pulses the first session, and 17,000 the second, so if yours is smaller it will still be uncomfortable if you do not numb, but the numb spots were fine. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting your first session, you really will see results!!! Oh, and I am in a clinical trial with it, so my price is based on my commitment as well as because of the trial, so it would definitely be higher cost for anyone with this size tattoo unless they qualify for a clinical trial. :) Updated on 3 Dec 2013: Here is the pic the doc took right before she did my third treatment. That means that this picture is AFTER ONLY 2 TREATMENTS!!!! It faded so much weeks upon weeks after treatment. I will post pictures of my third treatment soon, it has been 2 weeks since that one, so I will still be experiencing a lot of fading. Updated on 22 Jul 2014: Very happy! This picture was just last week right before my 4th treatment, so within the next 2 months my tattoo will fade and I'll get a new pic, so more progress is in the process, I know that picosure really works looking at the before and after! Updated on 22 Jul 2014: Updated on 26 Oct 2015: The doc always takes a better picture right before my treatment, but these are selfies of 4 treatments. I posted a pic of the original next to my post 3rd treatment. I really believe the gray work on the bottom (which is older than the tree) will be almost completely gone after this treatment! There are so many parts that are just completely new skin, like no tattoo was ever there!!! You MUST drink lots of water, though. The particles go through your lymph system, too, so eating a clean healthy diet will also help your system remove the particles. But PICOSURE breaks up the ink so your body can get rid of it! I'm SO excited to see what happens after my 5th this week!!!
i hadnt really thought about it till i spoke with Dr Saluja and what a great decision im so happy i did it, it was easy painless and not having to save or worried did i forget is amazing!!! if you havent thought about it before dont, JUST DO IT!!! you will be very happy with this decision :) do it!!
Botox I'm In - Huntersville, NC
She is amazing. Just two treatments from Dr. Saluja's Cynergy Laser, a pulsed dye laser with Nd:YAG, cleared up my broken blood vessels and rosacea. I had two treatments spaced 6 weeks apart and noticed a huge difference. My only regret is not having visited Dr. Saluja sooner. I look and feel much younger.
1. No down time and no pain 2. Immediate and noticeable improvement that lasts, 3. Best bargain for the buck.
I heard about this laser from friends who could not stop talking about it. Unfortunately I could not find a practitioner in my area that had it. Then I found Dr Saluja in Huntersville NC. After meeting with her and receiving a facial treatment, I am sold. The Revlite (medlite) is the best skin treatment I have ever received. You see results with one treatment and there is no downtime. Unlike my friends, a Medical Doctor administers my treatments, so she can examine, advise and solve any skin problems that I may have. I have recommended Dr Saluja to dozens of people, and will continue to do so. She is a real find! I am so happy with my RevLite laser treatment that I have scheduled another laser appointment for the future. There is no downtime and my face just glows. I can see a difference in the pore size, wrinkles, elasticity, and discoloration and over all skin tone. This laser does it all and I am so impressed with Dr Saluja that I will be going to her for all my skin care needs. She knows her facts and is quick to give options for any skincare concern
Hello,It sounds like you have "actinic bronzing" or a tan that remains, caused by sun damage. I understand that you have had chemical peels which actually caused your skin to darken. This may be secondary to PIH or post inflammatory hyperpigmentation on top of the bronzing.I would recommend starting with sunprotecting with a physical block with SPF of at least 30 and preferably a tinted block. Utilizing retinoic acid at night and hydrqoquinone 4% (2 months on and take a break for 2 weeks), may help to minimize pigmentation and can "prime" your skin prior to lasering. Certainly picosure could be started and your skin would be evaluated as you go through treatments. The best would be to consult with your practitioner to build a "skin plan" for you.All the best.
As a rule of thumb, cosmetic procedures are typically not done during pregnancy and should be done post pregnancy. Some patients, post pregnancy, can get diastasis (or separation of the rectus abdominis) and Emsculpt has also been shown to help bring this gap of muscle separation, closer together. If you are active, continue with your gym/work out routines that were performed prior to pregnancy. Under the supervision of your OB, continuation of your exercise throughout pregnancy is a good thing. After pregnancy, enhancing the muscle tone with Emsculpt then becomes an option. All the best to you during your pregnancy!
We have utilized Sculpsure in our practice and have been pleased with the results. There has been countless clinical studies with 1060 nm wavelength (Sculpsure) and we have even utilized it for submental fat (fat under the chin). I have not worked with Ultrashape, but the difference is ultrashape utilizes ultrasound and sculpsure utilizes a laser wavelength.Sculpsure is a 25 min treatment and we recommend 2-3 treatments spaced 6 weeks apart. Both options can target fat, but do not have data on Ultrasound power to compare. With any device it is important to know that body contouring is best served for the subcutaneous (pinchable) fat and will not be effective for the visceral fat (fat around organs), It is also important to know that while we love body contouring for the extra areas of fat that are bothersome to patients, diet modifications and exercise are step one and then body contouring for the areas that cannot be minimized with diet and exercise. Hope that helps!
First of all, great job starting at a younger age in caring for the skin. I would continue with sunscreen with SPF of at least 30 and opt for a physical block. I would moisturize with a hyaluronic acid or something with ceramides in it to help with the dryness. However, to help increase cell turnover, maybe add a little AHA or retinoic acid at night time (but moisturize first). After the summer has passed, then think about an IPL to target the reds/browns of the skin for photorejuvenation. This initial steps will give the skin a nice glow.
There are several devices that utilize acoustic wave therapy such as Cellutone by BTL and Z-wave by Zimmer. We utilize it in conjunction with body contouring. When treating with Sculpsure or Emsculpt, we will often do Cellutone post treatment to help with lymphatic clearance and there is evidence that acoustic wave therapy can stimulate fibroblasts to create collagen. It helps disrupt the fibrous septae and minimize the appearance of cellulite, but it does take multiple treatments. We like to use it in conjunction with RF technology when treating the leg cellulite as cellulite is very difficult to treat.
