I had a myomectomy on June 5th to remove large fibroids - how long before I can have liposuction? (Photo)

Liposuction by itself is probably not the best procedure to create improvement based upon the pictures submitted.

It's best to wait 3-6 months, and of course get clearance from you GYN surgeon before you do so.  Be sure to discuss your goals and concerns with your board certified plastic surgeon and consider the pros and the cons. Be certain your surgeon is properly certified.  I've attached a link where you can start your search. 

The best wait time in your case is 3-6 months. However, I think you can get the ball rolling about surgery and consultations.
You most likely need a tummy tuck. With your vertical scar, a tummy tuck has the advantage that this scar is totally removed. Muscles can also be tightened. Liposuction at the same time can sculpt the area.
Consultations will help you with your choices and best procedure.

I recommend following up with your Doctor about the recommended timeline for liposuction after your procedure. Most doctors will recommend waiting 3-6 months. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. Most practitioners recommend waiting at least 3 months after abdominal surgery (open or laparoscopic) before performing liposuction or other body contouring surgeries. This allows complete recovery from the initial surgery and resolution of swelling. 

Best to meet with a BC PS to discuss, but after major abdominal surgery it is reasonable to allow at least 3 months before doing liposuction.  Individual examination by a qualified plastic surgeon is necessary prior to any surgical decision of course.  Best of luck to you.James E. You need to be fully recovered with a normal blood count, CBC, before considering liposuction.

Hello!You can meet with a board certified plastic surgeon at any time to discuss your goals. She/he may veer toward discussion of tummy tuck vs. Liposuction depending on your physical exam. You are almost 3 months out from myomectomy. There is really no time limit as to when you can undergo plastic surgery. best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. I recommend waiting at three months prior to considering having surgery.  You will need to be evaluated in person to determine if liposuction alone or a tummy tuck and liposuction would be the best option for you.   Make sure you specifically look
at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery
performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most
important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend
that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who
can evaluate you in person.

Thank you for your question. First of all, you need to consult in person with PS whether you are a good candidate for lipo, which doesn't appear from photos you presented. In general, it is prudent not to rush after a major surgery under general anesthesia, so I would wait at minimum 3-6 months before undergoing another procedure under GA.
