had a myomectomy on June 5th to remove large fibroids they were about 20 cm a piece I had to be cut open vertically because they were so large my uterus was the size of someone that was 8 months pregnant how long do I have to wait before I can get liposuction in my stomach

I recommend following up with your Doctor about the recommended timeline for liposuction after your procedure. Most doctors will recommend waiting 3-6 months. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. Most practitioners recommend waiting at least 3 months after abdominal surgery (open or laparoscopic) before performing liposuction or other body contouring surgeries. This allows complete recovery from the initial surgery and resolution of swelling.

You are almost 3 months out from myomectomy. There is really no time limit as to when you can undergo plastic surgery. best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. I recommend waiting at three months prior to considering having surgery.  You will need to be evaluated in person to determine if liposuction alone or a tummy tuck and liposuction would be the best option for you.   Make sure you specifically look
at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery
performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most
important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend
that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who
can evaluate you in person.

Thank you for your question. First of all, you need to consult in person with PS whether you are a good candidate for lipo, which doesn't appear from photos you presented. In general, it is prudent not to rush after a major surgery under general anesthesia, so I would wait at minimum 3-6 months before undergoing another procedure under GA.

It is very difficult from your limited photo to tell what type of surgery that you would require.  Your skin appears to have a lot of stretch marks & seems to hang over.  Having liposuction alone is likely to give you a poor result.  I would recommend waiting at least 3 months until you have fully recovered from this previous large operation & to allow all your tissues to return to as normal a position as possible.  Due to already having scarring & surgery you may be best suited for an abdominoplasty.  Please seek a consultation with an appropriately trained Plastic Surgeon to discuss your options after the OK from your previous surgeon.  Kind regards

It's best to wait 3-6 months, and of course get clearance from you GYN surgeon before you do so.  Be sure to discuss your goals and concerns with your board certified plastic surgeon and consider the pros and the cons.
