Why would gynecomastia surgeon cut nipple?

I suspect that your surgeon was performing a nipple reduction. Without seeing photos I suspect that it will heal fine but you should certainly discuss it with him/her.

I can think of a few reasons why this may have occurred but best not to speculate; best to address this directly with your plastic surgeon.  Best wishes for an outcome that you will be very pleased with.

You should ask your surgeon why there are stitches on your nipples. He woudl be the best person to ask.

There must've been a good reason and I think everyone will agree that this is between you and your surgeon. Not good enough to speak to a nurse in the office. It's after-the-fact but in our facility these are all done through a tiny all but invisible incision inside the armpit including removing the gland.
