hello than you for your question and provided information as well..based on your question, the ideal would be that in that case you consult in person with a certified plastic surgeon who will evaluate you to see what options you have to achieve the expected result.
neenee 215. Not sure what you are referring to, however breast augmentation carries extremely high rate of patient satisfaction. While issues or complications may arise, they are extremely rare. Best to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon for better chance of a great result. Good luck.

Thank you for your question. As far as what Frankenboob is, it could be several things. Breasts that sit too high, asymmetrical breasts, animation deformities after augmentation, a uniboob caused by implants that were too big or placed incorrectly - there are a lot of things that could cause weird-looking breasts after augmentation. Fortunately, the risk of any of these happening are low, especially if you do your research. Almost any complication can be avoided if you are in the hands of a board-certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in breast augmentation. The right surgeon who is trained correctly and knows the procedure inside and out will know what to look for, what to avoid and how to tailor all of it to your unique body. No surgery is without risks, but again, the best way to avoid complications is to find a surgeon with the above criteria. Good luck!
Hi neenee215. I am not sure what you mean when you describe a 'frankenboob.' If you could provide a photograph that would be helpful.
If you are referring to the situation in which implants appear to be sitting high on the chest and having a square appearance, this can occur when large implants are placed, particularly higher profile implants. The reason why this occurs is because your tissues haven't had time to stretch and accomodate the implants. It improves over the course of 3-6 months. Hope this helps!
Greetings,I have on infrequent occasions heard this term applied by patients to immediately post-op high, full, and swollen submuscular implants. This problem most often resolves with time and if needed, with upper pole ace wrap breast compression. I suspect that "Frankenboob" may be a colloquial term for a seriously sub-optimal outcome in breast augmentation surgery. When you discuss breast implant surgery with your plastic surgeon and have been examined, you should also discuss the likelihood of the unwanted early and late outcomes you are worried about. Shape and position issues must be addressed separately, if they are of concern to You. We inform our patients that they will see a larger version of their existing breasts with an augmentation, alone. We also let them know that their final appearances can be months away. Over augmentation should be avoided by good patient and surgeon judgement.Hope this is helpful.Best Regards,
