I had to do a search for "Frankenboob" to make sure we are talking about the same thing. It seems that Frankenboob is the name used to describe the shape of the breasts that some women get after breast augmentation in which the breasts look square and are very full in the upper part of the breasts (towards the collarbone). Are we talking about the same thing? If so, then it is true that women whose breast skin is more stretched out prior to surgery, usually from prior pregancy, are less prone to Frankenboob. Basically if the skin and muscle are tight, then the fullness created by the implant has to go somewhere. Since the skin is initially too tight for the fullness to project forward, it tends to be seen in the upper part of the breasts. However, with time the skin and muscle will relax and the upper pole fullness will decrease. The breast will then project more forward and round out below. This will create a more pleasing shape. Other factors contributing to "Frankenboob" include the implant size and post-operative swelling.
