Can a Neck Lift help pull the skin upward making it look smoother and remove the crease in my neck?

Thank you for your question.  Horizontal neck creases are very difficult to correct completely.  Weight gain, sun exposure and certain medical conditions can worsen them.  Non surgical solutions include good skin care and light based treatments like intense pulsed light and broad band light to keep the skin in good condition.  Radiofrequency or Focused Ultrasound treatments can also help to tighten the skin some. Surgical solutions include a necklift to tighten the skin more aggressively.  While all  of these treatments help some, none correct the problem completely.  Combinations of these treatments are also more effective that one by itself. Maybe but why not try weight loss first to see at a lower weight how you appear. Bet the result would be equal to a neck lift... 

The primary goal  of a neck lift is not  to tighten skin, but to remove the fatty deposits above and below the platysma muscle. You are correct in that by pulling the neck skin upward a neck lift can reduce the appearance of the crease in the middle of your neck.However even after a neck lift when you bend your head and chin down the natural fold will recur and be present.For more information on neck lift surgery please read the following link:
