My face is extremely round and when I smile, I have no chin whatsoever. It's a complete circle. I'm 23 but I believe I still carry some baby fat that should have diminished through puberty. I'm not sure what kind of procedure I should consider. P.S. I don't want a chin implant as I want to be more natural.

Answer: Slimmer asian face your face is not abnormally round or fat for 23. it is typical that faces will lose the "baby fat" through the late 20's- 30's and I would strongly recommend avoiding any major surgery. Most importantly I would avoid any recommendations to remove buccal fat. I have been referred a number of young asian woman patients who had their buccal fat pad removed to make the face slimmer and were very unhappy. It seems to create a disproportionate loss of cheek volume in the young asian face.

Answer: I am Asian and want a slimmer face. Should I do a neck lift or chin liposuction? There are some techniques which may make your face look slimmer. Although you have some excess fat under your chin, removing it may not give you the slimmer face you are looking for. You may consider consulting with a board certified doctor with expertise in Asian cosmetic surgery. A facial evaluation may help you determine what is right for you.
