Will folliculitis 8 days post hair transplant effect graft growth? (Photo)

I had a fue hair transplant 12 days ago. When I washed the scabs off of my head on days 7 and 8 I had the first signs of folliculitis. My doctor prescribed levaquin and a topical antibiotic. I started treatment immediately but still had a breakout. See the photos. Now on day 12 the infection has calmed down considerably but I am concerned about the results. Have any doctors seen folliculitus so early in healing process and seen good results later on? Is this something to worry about?

Medical ink usually erase in a day or two.  It does not stay on for 5 weeks.If there was a normal pen or marker that was used and you had grafts put on the ink line, that may have caused a permanent tattoo.  See your doctor.

In general most doctors would suggest 3 weeks after a hair transplant surgery (FUE or FUT) before resuming heavy exercise or contact sports (which include combat sports and grappling).  Most importantly, ASK YOUR OWN DOCTOR as they have have specific issues with your specific surgery and...

The simple answer is YES.  You can use Toppik.  It would not interfere with the surgery.  See the post (LINK below) on Baldingblog about use of Toppik after surgery.

Just had Fue Hair Transplant (crown - 3900 grafts), I started sleeping in normal position. Will it lead to grafts falling down?

Other doctors may have different opinions, but after 7 days the grafts are anchored in and you really can't ruin it.  In the last 23 years we've been in practice, we've seen a wide spectrum of scabs after surgery.  Scabs and sleeping positions is not really a huge factor in hair growth...
