FUE hair transplant and the medical inked outline from the procedure remains permanent - Help! (photos)

Question

I have had a FUE hair transplant on my frontal region of my head (2,500 grafts). It is now 5 weeks after surgery and the medical inked outline from the procedure remains permanent. Is this normal, should this have happened and how can this be removed? Have had a nurse try to remove the line with rubbing alcohol for twenty minutes without any discoloring of the line.

Medical ink usually erase in a day or two.  It does not stay on for 5 weeks.If there was a normal pen or marker that was used and you had grafts put on the ink line, that may have caused a permanent tattoo.  See your doctor.

What kind of ink did they use?  Who did the procedure?  This is something that should definitely be followed up on.

The skin normally sheds and ink on the skin, even if you do nothing, will eventually shed with the skin as the skin turnover is about 1 month. Your doctor can tackle this with Acetone at this stage if it still shows, but don't do this yourself, if it still shows, you need to go back to your doctor to get the problem solved if you don't want to wait it out for a few more weeks.

It is not normal to have the ink present at this point.  You need to contact your hair transplant doctor and do a follow up visit. If it is indeed  ink mark , they need to clean it.
