I had my breast augmentation on Nov 8th and have started to see some dropping but my left breast looks a little different than the right one , my right under boob seams to look more rounded than my left (shape wise). Is this normal or has it rotated slightly ( left side in the picture)
Answer: Breasts Asymmetrical After BA Thank you very much for your question and congratulations on your November 8th breast augmentation procedure. At only about six weeks post-op, you are still in the earlier stages of healing, meaning your breasts will continue to settle on your chest. The final results can take up to three months to appear, and in some cases, residual swelling can take up to six months or longer to resolve. As the breasts begin to drop into their natural position, it is common to note temporary asymmetry. Each breast will continue to settle at its own pace, but this will even out in time. I recommend being patient and carefully following your doctor’s recovery instructions. If you have any further concerns, however, I suggest you reach out to your operating surgeon for his/her advice.

Answer: Is it normal as Anatomical implants drop for one to look different than the other? It is still early in your healing phase so the best thing to do is be patient and give your body time to heal. Textured implants can be slower to settle than smooth and often breast will heal at different rates. Be sure to check in with your surgeon on your progress, on occasion I will use a bra strap to help the implants settle.RegardsDr Guy Watts

Answer: Anatomical implants Although anatomic or tear drop shaped implants generally don't "drop" as much as round implants, they certainly still do. It is very common for implants to not drop at the same rate. So it is very possible that one implant has started to drop while the other has not. It's a little early to know what your final shape or outcome will be, or if an anatomic implant has rotated. It is certainly best for you to be seen in person by your treating plastic surgeon.

Answer: Asymmetry It is difficult to comment without seeing your preop photos. Often asymmetry postop is reflected in the differences preop. I would see your PS for an examination to see if there is any rotation.
