I need another perspective on my nose (Photo)

Question

I've always disliked my nose since I was a young child. I have a bump on my nose bridge that I absolutely love because it's from my Ukrainian grandparents. However, I never liked how wide and undefined my nose looked. I feel like the nasal tip of my nose needs to be more defined and narrow. Also, I feel like my nostrils should be slimmed down as well. I don't know if I'm right by assuming those changes will improve my facial harmony but it's what stood out to me. I would appreciate any feedback!

Addressing the shape of your nose (especially the nasal tip) is actually one of the most common reasons people seek out and undergo a rhinoplasty. As far as I can see from your photos you are a good candidate for rhinoplasty operation, your skin structure seems to be normal skin, a more harmonious image can be obtained by slightly filing your nose bridge and slightly lifting your nose tip. For get rid of this image I recommend you rhinoplasty surgery.
It would be better face to face consultation.

Based on your photos, you are a great candidate for rhinoplasty. If you want to leave the bump alone, that is perfectly fine. You can have a surgery focused on the tip and general wideness of the nose to make it appear slimmer and better defined, while bringing in the nostrils at the same. I think you are correct in that it will make a natural improvement to your face overall. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty expert for consultation.

Maneuvers that could be performed on your nose include dorsal hump reduction, tip refinement, tip elevation, and tip deprojection. The features about your nose that you describe are treatable with finesse Rhinoplasty.....in the right hands.  Overall, your nose looks good, especially the nasal tip which has great definition. The bump on the dorsum, width of the nasal bridge, and slight supratip dip can be addressed surgically.  I would not be in favor of an alar base reduction to make the nostrils smaller.  Good luck!

You like the bump but think your nose is too wide. OK, that can be changed.  The bump (really it's a hollowing on the lower part of your nose) does not need to be touched, and addressing the rest is quite quick.
