Thank you for your question.What you are describing is named Mondor's Cord. It is inflammation of the superficial veins and is treated with anti-inflammatory medication and warm compresses. These are typical for an armpit incision - I have performed thousands of the armpit breasts augmentations and some develop "cord" like feeling. The good news is they ALL go away - the best way to speed up recovery is warm compresses and stretching again they always go away

These bands are not unusual and are due to a swollen or inflammed vein.  No surgical treatment is needed just ibuprofen and stretching.  It generally takes 6 weeks to resolve.
