Answer: Can you return to MMA pro training 4 weeks after an FUE hair restoration? ATLANTA, GEORGIA, USA Dear renzodavi,Thank you for posting this question. The truth is that after a hair transplant using either FUE or the FUT (linear strip) method, 4 weeks is plenty of time to wait until resuming high-intensity MMA training. The wounds will have had plenty of time to heal, and you will not damage your grafts nor your donor area. You can go 100% at 4 weeks. We have our patients return to light exercise 7 days after a procedure and you can certainly be at 100% by 4 weeks. I hope this information is helpful to you.Ken Anderson, MD, FISHRS, ABHRSBoard Certified Hair Restoration Surgeon

Answer: Exercise after hair transplant Hello, Thank you for the question. Four weeks after hair transplant should be sufficient time to resume activities without limitations. I would recommend confirming instructions with your doctor before resuming training. Hope this helps.

Answer: Exercise after FUE Hair Transplant We recommend avoiding strenuous exercise for 4 weeks post transplant. Anytime after this, you should be okay to resume your training program. If you are unsure or anxious, I recommend checking with your doctor and getting the green light from them. Good luck! Best, Dr. McCune

Answer: Resuming high intensity workouts I work in Southern California and we deal with a number of professional athletes. You are good to go after 14 days. The deep part of the hair follicle has anchored itself in place and won't fall out. Although the small hairs you saw after the procedure may have fallen out, the "seed" so to speak has been planted and is safe. Hit the gym and wait for your new hair to come in.
