A rhinoplasty specialist will be able to comprehensively address the issues you have with your nose. While there are a variety of approaches and techniques employed by various surgeons, it is up to you to do your due diligence to find a rhinoplasty specialist in order to achieve the best results possible. Looking at computer-morphed images with your surgeon during consultation will give you a good idea of what is possible, and also give you a great chance to convey to your surgeon what you envision.
Thank you very much for the questions. The harmony between facial parts makes us instinctively recognize the beauty... without knowing it, without defining it, just a perception that surprises and captivates us.In this regard, After having analyzed all the info. and photos provided to us, i recommend you perform an Open Full Rhinoplasty, includding narrowing of the nasal base and nostrils, with nasal bones treatment (controled fracture) and alar + triangular nasal cartilages re-shaping.With this procedure you get a delicate nose, better harmonize with your other facial features.Kind regards
Hi. I read some of the replies and answers you got from other surgeons on here. Here is the fact. Your nose should not affect your marriage. If it is then im sad to say the issue is your marriage not your nose. Maybe you are the self conscious one or maybe your husband is the critical one but in either way THAT is what needs change first. Not the nose. But as far as the nose this is not for the average plastic surgeon and the average plastic surgeon will likely make your nose worse and maybe even cause breathing issues. You have very thick skin and most likely very thin cartilages. You need a structural rhinoplasty to thin the skin and add cartilage to strengthen the cartilages and bend them into a better shape. It will take months and years for the swelling to come down and for you to like the new nose. What I am saying is that you have a complex anatomy and either leave it alone and work on contouring it with makeup or go to an absolute expert.
Rhinoplasty allows a nose to be sculpted in a way that harmonizes with ones face. While most of the changes are made to bone and cartilage, the skin can also be thinned. The balance is that surgeons must preserve your breathing as some of the structure is needed for airway support. Consult with a board certified Plastic Surgeon or ENT to determine the best plan of care.
Yours is a top difficulty, 10 out of 10, in ethnic rhinoplasties, 5-6 hours of surgical time; reasons as follows:-short nose syndrome, due to massively short septum, short upper lateral cartilages and short lateral cruras; all this needs caudal extension grafts applied on septum and cruras,...
The increased density on the CT scan could be the appearance of the silicone implant. The redness and pressure at the tip of the nose is worrisome. I would recommend an evaluation with a nose surgery expert as the implant can get infected and push out of the nose even 20 years after the surgery.
For your understanding, a basic reduction rhinoplasty of any race is about 1 hour surgical time, or less in master's hands. Obviously they are the cheapest. A medium complexity rhinoplasty is 2-3 hours, in case it requires some grafting, of any race. Price a bit increased. A high complexity one...
Hi Naushin,Every nose is unique and requires customized surgical intervention. You can get close to the results that you want by creating a higher, thinner bridge and adding more definition to the tip. The tip usually needs cartilage grafting and thinning of the skin for refinement. Research ...
Thank you for your question. You should not be massaging your nose. The most important thing for the recovery of the nose includes, head elevation to prevent swelling, restricting activities which could cause a rise in blood pressure and cause nose bleeds, and using ice to reduce swelling....
Hi Yasminn.s, Silicone implant had been long used for Asian Rhinoplasty (more than 5 decades actually), and so far the incidence of complications such as extrusion, is very rare. However, if it really bothers you, the other option is to use silicone for the bridge, then septal cartilage f...
