To answer your question, yes your nipples can be made smaller during a gynecomastia procedure. You have a couple options for the chest. You can have the tissue removed/liposuctioned. Thanks for your question and the photos you provided. It is difficult to know for sure without examining you in person, but you could have a mall disc of breast tissue beneath the areola. In most cases, simply removing the tissue will allow for contracture of the areola. I would start with this step, and after 3 -6 months if the size of the areola has not gotten as small as you'd hope you can consider areolar reduction. Waiting could allow you less scarring for the stage. Good Luck!

Gland excision will work well for you. It will reduce the bulk behind your areola so they're not as prominent. The areolas will shrink when they're not being stretched by the underlying gland.

I would recommend liposuction and also direct subareolar gland removal. The liposuction will help contour the chest further. There is some element of excess fat as well that comes with gynecomastia unless it is one of the rare pure glandular issues.

Gland removal will help to make your areolae and nipples appear less "puffy." This would not necessarily reduce the diameter of the areolae, though. To do this, an incision would need to be made circumferentially. This can be easily concealed at the border between the pigment changes and fades nicely over time.

Thank you for your question. You don't have to be afraid of scarring as there is only a 4mm stab incision made in the axillary region and the areolar upper border. The liposuction is performed thereto to reduce glandular tissue. Hard mammary gland tissue directly below the areola that is not easily removed by suction can be excised through an areolar upper border incision (4mm) without scarring. Chest shape can be definitely improved. This will also reduce the size of your areola.

Hello and thank you for your question. Gland removal would definitely make your chest more aesthetic, and it can be done through a small incision on just a border of the areola. If you want to reduce the size of the areola you would need a scar all the way around it, which is more noticeable. Many times just by removing the gland, the nipple/areola contract and become smaller. An in person evaluation is always recommended. Good luck

You do appear to be a great candidate for this surgery. I like to perform this procedure using a direct excision approach of the glandular tissue, and then also liposuction to improve the contour and flatten the remaining skin to the chest wall. Sadly, there’s no way around some scars, however, the scars around the nipple areola complex typically fade extremely well. Liposuction port sites are often only 4-5mm in diameter and heal well as well. I think that a patient like you can really meet their goals and I have a lot of professional satisfaction doing these cases for young men because of the results they can be achieved. Make sure to discuss your goals with your surgeon and to feel comfortable with their approach. I like the combination approach so that both issues can be addressed, the glandular tissue and the fat.

For individuals with low BMI and little subcutaneous fat who have true gynecomastia surgery is pretty straightforward to. The incisions tend to heal well and are well camouflaged at the areola skin color Interface.
Generally the Ariola‘s will reduce in size with the removal of an appropriate amount of glandular breast tissue.
I do not recommend formal Ariola reduction in men which gives an unforgiving scar.It doesn’t appear to be needed in your case. Consult with a few plastic surgeons in your community to get a more accurate assessment and better understanding of treatment options.

Being shown a handful of sample pictures which may represent the best results of a providers career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of an average results look like.
Plastic surgeons may be reluctant in showing their entire collection of before and after pictures but I would encourage all patients to ask to see as many results as possible. You may want to ask the providers to show as many pictures as possible of patients with similar chess characteristics to your own.
Gynecomastia surgery it’s a fairly common procedure and an experienced provider should have no difficulty showing you at least 30 sets or more of the before and after pictures.
Highly experienced surgeons will have hundreds.
The procedure is relatively straightforward but it’s important to not over excise breast tissue causing indentations. it’s also important in some individuals to differentiate if subcutaneous fat is contributing as well as possible skin laxity in individuals have had weight fluctuations or men who are a little older.
Continue having consultations until you feel comfortable you found the right provider for you.
I recommend avoiding virtual consultations when possible.
Gynecomastia surgery can be done under general anesthesia, local anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation.
The biggest mistake the surgeon can do is over resecting too much breast tissue which leaves contour deformities that are very difficult to later correct.
