I’m having my breast augmentation this week. I am so unsure about size of cc. I want them to look natural, but I also don’t want them to be too small. Iam currently going for 320 cc, but are also open for 300cc. My height is 5’4, and my weight is 53 kg. Do you have any thoughts?
Answer: Implant size The cc does not matter as long as the implant fits your chest width. 20 cc up or down is not clinically relevant and you will not be able to tell by looking at the breast. 20 cc is 4 table spoons!

Answer: Breast implant size Sizing always causes a lot of stress amongst patients. There is honestly minimal difference between 300 cc and 320 cc. I generally tell patients if they are choosing between two sizes- probably go with the bigger as I rarely have patients who feel they went too big. More its patients who wished they want bigger as they get used to the implants being higher up and the swelling before the implants drop and fluff. Either way, I think you will likely have a very nice result. All the best,

Answer: Implant size Dear tuvasv, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: Breast Augmentation Hello, my name is Dr Igor Burko and I am a Plastic Surgeon at SY Aesthetics in NYC. Implant selection should be a process that is completed with your plastic surgeon prior to surgery. The different implant options you have will be determined by your goals, as well as the anatomy of your own chest. 20cc will likely not lead to a noticeable difference. As a general rule, going up or down 75-100cc is needed to see a noticeable difference. My recommendation is to speak to your surgeon pre-operatively and make sure you discuss your options as well as expectations in detail.

Answer: Implant size Hello, Thank you for the question and photos. Implant size discussion and implant selection is one of the most important steps during your consultation with plastic surgeon. The decision-making process depends on patient’s desires, as well as breast and soft tissue dimensions of the chest wall. Based on your photos, 300-330cc size implant should give you a fuller cup size, but it is important to understand that cup sizes vary different company brands. I would seek an in-person evaluation by the Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon, in order to discuss your goals and concerns for the best cosmetic results.
