Thank you for your pictures. You are a great candidate for Rhinoplasty surgery. The bump can easily be removed and this will give your nose a nice, natural slope. I use an open technique called Piezo which is using ultrasonic waves instead of the hammer and chisel technique. Therefore, swelling and bruising will be minimal. Best wishes.
Thank you for your question and photos. Since you’re only interested in reducing the appearance of the bump, nasal rasps can be used to file it down safely while preserving the rest of your nose structure.Although the changes you’re interested in are minimal, it’s important to note that rhinoplasty is one of the most complex of all plastic surgery procedures, requiring experience, skill, and even artistry to achieve an optimal outcome. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon, with expertise in rhinoplasty techniques, who can answer any questions you may have and suggest the best approach to help you achieve your aesthetic goals.
In consideration of rhinoplasty after a broken nose, there are multiple variables to consider. Without a front view, it is hard to tell if the nose is crooked. You may be having difficulties breathing and a shifted septum, which can be addressed during surgery. Based on your photographs, you do have a transition at the top of the nose where it is sunken in, creating the appearance of a bump. It is possible just to deal with the bump on your nose. The surgical plan would depend on how the broken nose created the bump and may require imaging like CT scan to assess the nasal structure. One option is to file down the bump. The nose is like a tripod, so with removal of a large bump, the sides may not touch the top. You may need the nose bones broken to close that gap. Another option is to fill the area above the bump, where the forehead transitions to the nose. That would create a smooth contour down the length of your nose. This can be done surgically with crushed cartilage or non-surgically with filler. The final plan would depend on your aesthetic goals and review of her pre-injury photographs.

Is it possible to remove a dorsal hump without any other changes? The simple answer is, yes. If you wish only to remove the dorsal hub and not address any other features of the nose, that makes for a very simple rhinoplasty. Bear in mind that all the features of the nose must be in harmony so if there are other features that would not be in harmony by just removing the dorsal hump, then they should be addressed as well. That determination can be made in consultation where the size and relationship of the tip, nostrils, length, projection, etc. can all be assessed
Yes, removing only the hump is of course a very easy procedure, but you overlook that your nose is a little long. Your lip and nose tip distance, that is, your projection is 1-2 mm long. You can get more detailed information about me, ask all questions about your case and sending your photos to my assistants at the number on my profile. You can also book an online consultation and discuss your problems with me. With all respect.
Septoplasty itself to address a deviated septum, will not change the shape of your nose. This surgery is performed to allow better airflow through your nose so it improves your breathing. It's not a painful process but you might experience mild to moderate discomfort for a few days. I perform...
Although not very common, I have seen this before. Some patients can be quite shocked initially. If you worry this could be a major issue for you, I would advise against surgery. I have had some patient's talk to a psychologist which they found to be very helpful. I would also suggest doing this...
Nasal fillers are effective in making corrections after rhinoplasty surgery without the need for revision surgery. This gives us a chance to revise your nose so you won't need to go through another operation. Simple deformities are corrected with a filler. Your doctor needs to be very careful...
