How much would it cost to remove facial cyst without insurance? (Photo)

I'm a young adult female who has a penny sized cyst on my cheek bone. It started off a lot smaller over a year ago and it has grown and I can no longer take it. It's very ugly and distracting. I do not have insurance and since its on my face I'm worried it will cost more. How much do you guys think it will cost me?

Thank you for your question and photographs and I am sorry to hear about your cyst issues.  I agree that with the increasing size of your mass, best to have it removed when it only would involve a small incision.  Depending on the plastic surgeon, I would anticipate costs to range from 500-1000 dollars to take care of the cyst.

The cost of removing a facial cyst will vary by surgeon, but as a very rough estimate, I would say it should cost somewhere in the hundreds of dollars and not thousands.  It is a procedure that could be done in the surgeon's office with just local anesthesia.

These type of lesions are easily and commonly removed.  A lesion such as this runs about $750 to remove for both the surgical treatment and follow-up.  You should get an excellent cosmetic result.
